Born and raised in Gloucester, MA, (Home of “The Perfect Storm”); Dave came to CA in 1983 and settled in Santa Cruz. Moving with his daughter to Merced in 1999, Dave began his career in radio sales with the old “FAN” 1640AM sports station. After the sale of that station, Dave moved to Radio Merced and continued to sell “The FAN” before coming to FOX Sports in 2003.

In August of 2004, Dave moved into the sales manager position for FOX.

     As a Massachusetts native, Dave continues his avid support of his favorite teams; The Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins.

Since their inception, Dave has also been a loyal SJ Sharks fan and enjoys attending their games.

     For the last 5 years, Dave has been an assistant varsity coach and head Junior Varsity  coach for the Merced High Lady Bears basketball team.

Beginning this season, he will focus his attention as a full time varsity assistant.

    Dave has a variety of interests and hobbies which include golf, music, camping, fishing, Yosemite, and is currently singer and harmonica player in a blues band, with friends, called “Puty’s Repala.”

Dave is a huge fan and supporter of the Merced Blues Festival.

     Dave serves as a board member for the Merced Community Action Network and is involved in many local committees and community events.
